- About Us

I Rise Education believe that all students should have access to a curriculum that fully reflects their cultural background.

In order to do this, teachers should be confident to teach using resources and schemes of work designed to suit the learning needs of their diverse classroom. Students should also be able to walk into their school and see their own images displayed positively around the school in classrooms that celebrate their cultural heritages as well as drawing from the world in which they now live.

With the training that I Rise offer, we can ensure that practitioners are able to understand the specific needs of children from the global majority and deliver our resources with confidence.

Overall, I Rise Education will be imperative in ensuring the academic achievement of students who according to statistics are not achieving their full potential, groups like boys of African Caribbean heritage and children who have recently migrated from non-English speaking countries. Our teaching methods and resources will also keep the students motivated and therefore in school, which will also help to prevent the exclusion of groups like African Caribbean boys who currently are 5 times more likely to be excluded than any other group.
I Rise will ensure the achievement of all students in schools.
